X-Yachts X5.6 Overview
We love being the West Coast X-Yachts dealer for so many reasons. The X-Yachts team are like great chess players who think many steps ahead of the competition
The X56 is a fifty-six-foot performance cruising yacht designed with serious cruising in mind; be that crossing the Pacific, or cruising down to Mexico. The X56 joins the hugely successful and critically acclaimed Pure X Range.
X-Yachts has a clear design philosophy, they place a huge emphasis on giving the owner an amazing, comfortable sailing experience, on a yacht that is easy to handle by all the crew.
The first X56s hit the water in November 2020 and celebrated her world premiere in January 2021 in Haderslev, Denmark.

X-Yachts X5.6 – Great Builds = Fantastic Sailing Craft
With the introduction of the X-65 in 2007, X-Yachts started to infuse hulls for performance yachts utilizing epoxy resin. Epoxy infusion construction offers fantastic control over the laminate allowing it to be optimized to maximize strength and stiffness, whilst saving weight.
In the X56 all weight saved is used to increase the yacht’s stability enabling the crew to have a more relaxed time and to feel safer and more comfortable.
The fact that the hull is cured at high temperatures for nearly 24 hours, not only optimizes the hull material properties but also minimizes the risk of the surface imperfections showing over time.
With over 10 years of experience building epoxy-infused yachts, X-Yachts made the decision (2018) to build all models using this technology. Leading the field is just one of the reasons we love representing these superb boats.

X-Yachts X5.6 Rigging
It could be argued that the sail plan for any yacht is one of its most important features. From the inception of the Pure X Range, flexibility has been key.
X-Yachts took the best from their performance and cruising lines. You’ll find the X5.6 can be specified with a self-tacking jib for ease of handling when short-handed and longitudinal genoa tracks to maximize sailing performance – the choice is yours.
The X56 has a large molded bowsprit as standard allowing asymmetric spinnakers to be flown from the front and has space for a Code-0 furler in front of the main forestay, the innovative new shape of the bow allows both the furlers to be pushed further forward maximizing the J measurement to improve upwind performance.
