The X65 steps into the future of modern performance cruising. These beauties are designed for the discerning sailor who dreams of luxury blue water and coastal cruising without compromise.
Utilizing advanced, proven technology and build techniques, the X65 will enable her owners and crew to enjoy the exploration of new uncharted horizons.
The design of the X65, from its sleek flush foredeck to streamlined, sweeping coachroof, is both clean and considered. Every detail has been afforded the utmost attention, creating a truly modern design that is as practical as it is stylish.
The X65 rewards the owner with a deck and rigging layout fit for a king.
Halyards and control lines are led back to the aft cockpit coamings, making for a clutter free environment. It is decked out with vacuum applied laid teak on side decks, all seating, cockpit sole and the inside of the transom door/swim platform.
All pedestals have side boxes which hold the standard electronic throttle and any thruster controls as well as controls for the furlers. Adjustable recessed foot chocks also add comfort whilst under sail.
Optional custom clear coated carbon pedestals and boxes with optional Ritchie 130mm stainless steel compass and wheel rim in high gloss varnished, laminated mahogany wood.
The tender garage on the X65 is big enough for a 3.2m jet rib and is completely water tight to the interior of the yacht. The large bathing platform has integrated fold out rollers and lowers 10 degrees below horizontal to make launching of the tender effortless.
Danish design and architecture is famous for its clean and timeless style. This ethos is central to the design of the X65, which combines an elegant aesthetic with luxurious standards of quality and comfort.
The raised saloon coach roof with wrap-around windows creates a sense of light and spaciousness, whilst offering panoramic views and allowing seamless crew movement between the saloon and cockpit.
Throughout the interior, an uncluttered feel has been achieved thanks to clever storage solutions for the plentiful gear needed for a luxurious life aboard.
A combination of the latest technologies and a finely crafted interior utilizing high quality materials creates a truly pleasurable cruising experience. The X65 interior fittings unite natural materials such as soft leather and wood with handcrafted details and cutting-edge innovations.
The X65 may be highly personalized to suit each owner’s style, from sleek and minimalist to more hi-tech and contemporary.
Although the X65 is a production yacht, X-Yachts is committed to making yours as customized as possible. Here is a what one reviewer wrote:
Yes, the hull comes out of a series mold but almost everything after that is up for discussion, from the finish to the configuration below decks.
So, although hull No 1 was conceived with a large owner’s cabin forward, a double aft to starboard and two twin bunk cabins, hull No 4 will have a huge owner’s suite aft across the full width of the stern.
X-Yachts offers 3 basic layouts and lots of options for each. Perhaps Toby Hodges from Yachting World summed it up best when he wrote:
“I have never walked into a boat before and fallen straight in love with it like this,” said our veteran photographer Richard Langdon, not one normally prone to exaggeration.
The formidable natural light illuminates a mix of finishes including bare teak, clear-coat carbon, stainless steel and walnut – all modern, light, and fresh looking. “It’s sensational,” I agreed.
The X6⁵ is a bold design: a muscular, small superyacht blessed with powerful lines; a yacht that will place most others of her size firmly in the shade on the water.
Though it gusts more than 30 knots at times, and the ride is exhilarating as we beat into the short Solent chop, the cockpit remains as dry as a bone.
After the boat has walked sideways on to the pontoon using its bow and stern thrusters, I step back down to earth with only a light dusting of salt on my sunglasses.s well as below decks.
